About Telescope Together
Hi, I’m Bill. I got curious about smart telescopes and ended up deep in the details.
A smart telescope can sound simple: set it outside, connect a phone, choose a target, and let the system handle the rest. Once I started comparing exact models, the differences piled up quickly.
Aperture and focal length are only part of the decision. Field of view changes framing. Some systems have separate tele and wide cameras. Tripods may be included, sold separately, or bundled differently by region. Apps, phone support, storage, charging, filters, and previous-generation models all affect what you are actually buying.
Why I made this site
Telescope Together grew out of that research. I wanted one clear place to compare exact models, understand what comes in the package, and see which setup questions matter before the first night outside.
The site begins with the main buyer’s guide and a small group of current smart telescopes. Exact-model comparisons, beginner guides, and reference pages cover the details that are easy to miss when every product is presented on its own.
Previous models still have a place here when they help owners or answer a real comparison question. They stay separate from current buying recommendations.
